Greetings Recreation News Subscribers! The following is an update on the Village Pool and other Recreation matters as we enter Memorial Day Weekend.
First ... the weather has turned on us, and it now feels like late October instead of late May outside. Unfortunately, the forecast calls for worse, before it gets better, so ...
The 2021 Pool Season is here ... BUT ... due to current weather forecasts with extended colder temperatures on Sunday (rain and temps in the 50s), the Village Pool will now open for our 2021 season on MONDAY, May 31st, at 11:00 am (we are NOT opening on Sunday). Hours for Monday are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and all visitors must have a permit, or be the guest of a permit holder. Residents who have yet to renew or purchase their permits are welcome to enter as “guests” for the day with proof of residency and our standard $10 guest fee. Please note that the water will be cleared, with no swimming permitted during the Memorial Day Service in Law Park on Monday at 11:30 am. When the service has concluded, swimming may resume and the concession stand will be opened.
Pool & Tennis Permits: Permit sales are ongoing, and you can access information and print forms from the links below. We also have some special office hours coming up for permit sales and Photo ID picture taking. If you can’t get to us during regular business hours, please consider coming in during one of the following times: Saturday Mornings between 10:00 AM-1:00 PM on 5, 12, 19 June, or Monday Evenings between 4:30-6:00 PM on 7, 14, 21 June. As always, please call the Recreation Office at 941-6560 if you have any questions!
