Middle Class STAR Rebate
Taxpayers already receiving the "Basic STAR" exemption may be eligible for the new "Middle Class STAR" rebate. Westchester homeowners can receive rebates of up to $1200.97 if qualified. Applications must be submitted to the NYS Dept of Taxation and Finance. Enhanced STAR (qualifying senior citizens) will automatically receive a check from Department of Taxation and Finance by September 5th, 2007. Basic STAR recipients will receive an application by mail by September 17th.
