VILLAGE REAL PROPERTY TAXES
Village Real Property Tax Bills for 2010 are being mailed at the end of May 2010. The First Installment is due by July 1, 2010. Penalties accrue on unpaid taxes each month that they remain unpaid. A penalty of 5% will be applied on all unpaid balances as of July 2, 2010. Additional penalties will accrue each month the taxes remained unpaid.
***The Second Installment is due by January 3, 2011. The payment coupon for the Second Installment is attached to the bills that are being mailed in May – no additional bills will be mailed.

The Treasurer's Office is charged with the responsibility of maintaining custody of all Village funds and keeping the accounts of all Village receipts and expenditures. The accounting methods used by the Village must be in compliance with a uniform system of accounts as authorized by the Office of the State Comptroller. Budget preparation is the responsibility of the Village Manager, who serves as the Village's Budget Officer.
The Village Treasurer has the responsibility of filing the annual financial statement in the Office of the Village Clerk. Additionally, the Office administers the Village's payroll, accounts payable, tax collection and water billing.

June 1-June 30 : Village Tax (Village of Briarcliff Manor)
September 1 -30: School Tax (Town of Mt. Pleasant & Town of Ossining)
December 1-31: Village Tax (Village of Briarcliff Manor)
