The Dare officer from the Village of Briarcliff Manor's Police Department annually presents a 10 week Drug Abuse Resistance Education program to the 5th grades of Todd School and St. Theresa's School. Students are educated about the negative effects of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, as well as peer pressure and decision making skills.
The educational focus for kindergarten and first grade students at Todd School is on personal safety, and stranger awareness.
